You are right Outofnowhere, but you should know that a key to win for any irregular force is population support.

Looking like a crazy mofo screaming "I'm going to start killing people", specially when the supposed origin of the AWB are the mofos killing people isn't intelligent.

As we know the guy from before we know what he meant, but he could say the same without becoming food for the media and the gun grabbers fucks.

Agree.

James is just speaking what we are all thinking. And the majority of the gun community will retreat and let the government walk all over them.

If you are waiting for a 'time to grab the rifle!' moment, you will be dissapointed because it will not come. They will take a little, not all. And like the good, upstanding, peacefull, law abiding citizens we all claim to be, we will grudgingly accept it. Meanwhile as we are shunning those who stand up and threaten violent action, because that 'hurts the cause' more than helps. Another decade passes and they will take a little more.. just a little. A reasonable compromise they say. And yet agian like sheep we go along saying, atleast they didn't take it all away'. The next generation comes along and they accept the new laws blindly because that is all they know. It is the standard to them. They are raised knowing that drones fly overhead and to not do or say anything the government might get you for. Because the government has ingrained in them the righteous purpose of the state and uniformed men. All the while we, the previous generation, are sitting around in our government regulated gun clubs sipping coffee griping about 'how it used to be'. And that is IF the economy somehow recovered through some miraculous chain of events and ignoring basic laws of economics.

Don't fool yourself. We have lost before we started. But don't worry. Hummanity will go on. Resetting itself from time to time. The same old cycle of empires and ruin.

OONW, hj, APX and Grudgie, you all speak the truth however, as the cards are being dealt its not the time to speak of murder. Lets see what the cards are and then once we know we can speak to those cards.

I am also a person that walks softly BUT carries a big stick. I prefer to use the big stick in anonymity rather than broadcast my intentions. Kind of like keeping a poker face of sorts.  ;)

We have lost before we started.

I agree Grudgie most of the gun community or at-least the mainstream types have disappointed me. yeah Yeager put his foot in his mouth, but he has a right to say what he wants as long as he doesn't actually commit a crime. i hear guys say "I hope he doesn't get his CCW back" im sorry but when i hear that no mater what you feel about Yeager i just feel stabbed in the back. he didn't commit a crime. it feels like 1984, he committed a "thought crime". i just hate this apologetic attitude and "we aren't associated with those people" mentality that i'm starting to see in the gun community. it looks week.

It's weak when people of note in the community say patently stupid shit, and the rest of us are left to try to explain their actions.

If watching yeagers video didnt fire you up in a good way atleast a little, then your dead weight. Like JM said keep your poker face but some one has to "rally the troops". Should the day to fight ever come (it has not)rest assured there wont be blood red skies, there wont be mortors thumping in the distance. You might be faced with the choice, go to work, or go fight. You do have that potluck tomorrow... Hmmmm...

Yes Kentactic. It seems like people are waiting for a 'Oh snap!' moment that will never come. The cancer that is tyranny will slowly eat away your rights. Generation by generation. If the Americans of 1776 woke up to today's America there would be revolution tommorow.

I ask that should an assualt ban come we atleat refuse to comply and allow ourselves to be arrested in protest. Maby we will collapse the prison system.

We won't get an "oh snap" moment, but we need to at least see what that dipshit's next move is. As for refusing to comply, that's the least I will do. Three hots and a cot is basically what they've reduced my world down to now. LOL! Only now, I have to bust my ass for the three hots and a cot. AND I have to work for other peoples hots and cots too.

Poetic as it might be your idea of getting arrested to protest is pointless.  Here is why:

FACT 1.  America is a prison state.  If the Gov don't have the facility to hold you in there are private corp. run systems that would love the gov check to house your ass.  But dependent on your degree of "disagreement" with the fed and seeing as how you'd be arrested for something so evil I can assure you that they have a large number of special facilities built and ready for your type of "resister".

FACT 2.  Now you are in prison and you have lost by force that which the idiot sheeple have given up without the orange jumpsuit and tiny barred cell.  Your freedom.  And if you think you are ever getting out I have one nifty little acronym for your... NDAA.  Yup,  you'll have plenty of time to ponder what you could have done while you sit under indefinite detention.

FACT 3.  Don't think that the gov would/could round people up?  Not here you say?  WRONG.  Ask anyone of Japanese birth or descent what happened to them while they live on American soil during WWII.  And yes, some of those nifty little types of camps or old bases that could be used as such have power and water running to them even now.  I wonder why.

The simple truth is WHEN the gun ban goes through and once they really start picking up people it will go completely ignored by the MSM.  And if you are on that special list, which even if you don't say anything too radical on here I have a feeling you are on it, there will be no trial and no bail.  It used to be that if you were a threat to their power and we on that list they could try to use what you had and if that didn't work... you became a child molester according to them.  Don't believe me?  I HAVE SEEN IT HAPPEN.  But of course now days with the NDAA they don't need to make an excuse.  All of a sudden it is "goodbye family, hello black bag and the rest of your life"!

So with the situation so dire, so fragile as it is, what can we do?

NETWORK!
Make friends online and offline.
Set up call trees so that in the event of the word can get out and we aren't all sitting in the dark awaiting our turn
Come up with Emergency Action Plans for you, your family, etc for IN THE EVENT OF...

Always be aware of the current climate of things and what is coming.  DO NOT just rely on the MSM for news
Finally, as you should already have and as Yeager said in his video, have a bag or bags packed.  Pre-stage and be prepared for anything.

In conclusion I would like to say that Ken is right about the choice that most will be faced with one day.  It likely won't be a shock and awe moment that says "let's go".  People will be forced to decide between fighting for what they believe in (in whatever sense of the word is appropriate at the time) and going back to the 9 to 5.  I would remind you of one thing:  During the revolutionary war, the men who fought and died had jobs.  They had families (sometimes rather large ones) and loved ones that they left behind, sometimes for good.  But they recognized how dire the situation was and were willing to answer Liberty's call to action and did so with full faith and allegiance to her.

I have been asking us to start a phone tree but to no avail. I have a few of your numbers BUT I would like to have more so I could start the tree.

I know X, I call X, C calls Y, Y calls Z, etc etc until it comes back to me. When I would know the message was completely passed along to the whole tree.

If you are game PM me.

IMO, a good honest response to his juvenile rant earlier. Thank you James Yeager.
