This site, grandpappy.info is absolutely amazing.  The home page doesn't look like much.  But when you start digging through it the amount of information this guy has put together is incredible.

He's one of the few people I've heard of who has actually said, "Honey, grab up the kids.  We're going to march into the woods, build a cabin, and live there for a year."  Unfortunately, they didn't make it because they didn't realize what they were up against.  What he learned in attempting it though, could help you out a lot.

I stumbled across his site a while ago and really like how he adjusts his prices with inflation.

It's good to see what sort of base to start with. At first I thought he was selling all of these things but then I continued reading. Good stuff. If it was a standardized list and he did sell them, it would be very beneficial to include a recipe book so the palate doesn't get too bored.

Yep lol, I'm wondering how long it will take after WROL before I get sick of beans.

He does have a lot of recipes on his site.  Most of them are for old time things.  Although, he does include some for assorted wild game like possums and stuff.

I've never eaten a possum.  But like I said, if those beans start wearing on me I'm sure I'll be looking to skin one out.
