Facts that have been stated so far:
He had a .22 caliber "assault weapon" with a drum magazine and several high capacity clips as well as a .45 pistol and 4 homemade EDs
His roommate (who called 911) shut the door on him after he raised the gun on him. (why didn't he fire through the door?)
He had supposedly mailed himself extra magazines, and a dvd on marksmanship to help him in the attack.
The guy was not even enrolled in any classes and was supposedly about to be evicted.
He was called anti-social, and they are saying that he killed himself because campus police responded so quickly he could not react to the change in his plans.
This smells worse than a fish market on a hot day with no A/C...

Wait, they have a drum magazine for that .22? I have pretty much the same one..... not that I need a drum mag. :-\
After reading a couple articles on this I see the media bias to try and push people to report gun owners on suspicion of premeditated crimes. Thought police anyone? Not saying it doesn't happen, but to call that .22 an "assault rifle?" I consider that about the same as saying a kitchen paring knife is a samurai sword.
It's fear mongering and nothing less.
