by this logic, you're implying that preppers/patriots, whatever you call yourself (assuming you hold yourself to a higher standard than a sheep) aren't called to operate by any moral code.

 I think that show is a great way to target preppers.. its an easy way to research them without drawing suspicions and now thanks to the NDAA. They can lock them up or have something " happen " to them

This time you're right, but I have seen guys that all they did was speak out and they had the FULL UNABATED force of the system brought down on them to shut them up and intimidate others to silence.  He was frustrated and unfortunately said some stuff ON CAMERA and to the wrong people that he shouldn't have.  That is not grounds for what happened, he is a grown man and should not be railroaded for being human.

Well I didn't particularly care for Dave and already thought he was kind of crazy, but I never thought I'd see him declared insane. His situation is actually a disturbing trend growing within our nation. For the sake of educating you guys I'll share a little something personal. About 2 weeks ago my little sister got raped. Now, not to play it down, but it is the second time this has happened and been reported to the police. Not the same guy either. Right after it happened she went to the hospital and they examined her. Well they pretty much traumatized her really. She finished up and was ready leave when they called in some sort of social worker. She said they talked and said she thought she'd be good to go, but she had to check with her supervisor first. Next thing she knows the lady comes back and says they're going to put her on a suicide watch.  She started arguing with the lady and her supervisor and they tell her if she doesn't submit she could be put in a holding cell and possibly commited. Now, I don't know about Dave's situation, but judging from my sisters there's something going on. Weird thing is the last time this happened was just a year ago and there was no issue even remotely like this. She was taken care of, questioned, and sent home of her own will. Stuff like this makes me not want to bother going to a hospital, doctor, or anything else.
*Edit- Also found out tonight they forced her to take over 20 pills. She refused to take them until she knew what they were and they said she wasn't authorized to know and could be held until she took them all. So they had two "sitters" watch her until she took all the pills. She took 2 hours to down them all and still has no idea what they were for.   I agree, that is some real dumb shit to say to your doctor.  What an idiot.  I don't think he came right out and said it in his video, but did he actually say, "My life is not worth living anymore??"  I know he said some stupid things about his heart and how he was going to put a bag or sheet over his head or something, but like he said, he and the doctor were both laughing about it.  I'm sure he thought it was all a joke. 

Obviously, the doctor decided to be the stasi and turn his ass in.

I agree, though, if he actually plain faced without a smile or laugh or anything, said that "My life is no longer worth living, anymore."  Then yeah he deserved everything that was coming to him, and probably should be under 24 hour watch for suicide.  That shits not cool at all.

Well the libertarian in me, says that any human being has the right to take their own life at any time of their choosing, but I will say, that's about the dumbest thing you can do, and not to mention what that would do to your family and friends, if you have any.     Its simply the most selfish act that I believe one person can take, especially not taking into account people that truly love you. 

On top of that, how about people that depended on you in WROL if it ever happens?  You're letting them all down by your decision to leave.

I think its important to note as well, that David clearly stated in his last video that he had nothing to live or prep for now that he couldn't defend himself or his property. That he would sell or give away his dogs. Now, it is apparent, that if he was suicidal it would be because of this and its aftermath. I don't think he will, but the situation has been created for that possibility strictly based upon the decision making a few individuals. This is messed up and a clear violation of his constitutional rights, hell his God given rights! Now you can't even go to the doctor without risking your rights as an individual anymore.
