20-30 years ago when I used to camp they had decent products, I personally would stick with commercial / construction grade work clothes that are built to last. Simple, tough, fire resistant...

Personally I think Northface makes a great product, that said I rock a Peckham USMC Fleece that was purchaced for me overseas for a 1/4 of the cost.

Oh yeah, its wind proof too and all the right colours.

It's too bad Northface doesn't make any big&tall sizes, of which I fit into both categories.  Oh well, there's always Carhart.  I do have a Northface beanie that's really thin and warm at the same time.
