Title: Spreewerk?

Hoping someone can answer my question or lead me to where i can get an answer.
Spreewerk CYQ 4th variation P38 matching #s 7xxxm excellent condition. Now the big question. Is it safe to shoot Hornaday +P ammo in it?

This may not be the exact answer you wer ehoping for but.. :
While I dont know enough about that particular firearm ( and especially WHEN in the war it was made) I am not sure for what reason I would want to shoot +P aka 9mm "proof" load in a classic firearms?

If it was SHTF and a MZB is in my room and thats all I have sure..

But pre boom, why not just use regular 9mm?
