Nice set up!
Man my dad had one of those bamboo cutters back in the day..that thing will take a finger off real quick like!
But he made a snap over sheath for his, kinda like the one that comes with the SOG tomahawk...it wasnt super quick to brandish but he could carry it on his belt.
Thats the only thing he carried in the woods back hom in WV.

VooDoo tactical LBE.
Water bladder holder in rear
Lots of molle
drop leg holster (cant remember the Brand)
Dump pouch
Three pistol mag holder- condor
GI Grenade pouch. (wishful thinking)
Gadget pouch - Condor
I have modified this vest to meet my needs.
Plz keep in mind this rig is light but thick material. I live in New England and it serves well for cold weather Ops. I can wear alot of layers underneath it. I wont be adding much elses to this kit as the weight can sneak up fast with 6 loaded ak mags and my other gear. but pulling two mags from the outer most pouches ads mor storage and lightens the load considerably.
I wouldnt recomend for the south or southwest regions.
I dont mind sweating a lil in the summer but it helps keep my core warm in January.

I have quite a few 5.11 items and really like them.  Some I have and love the quality but have no real use for them.  Ill post my "kit" later, right now working too hard on catching up on making videos.

Just got word my new armor is shipping and I should see it sometime next week.
I'll do a full review when it gets here.

Until then, I've been sitting on this carrier for months now.
I can't wait to use it.

Crye Precision JPC ( Jumpable Plate Carrier)

It weighs just 1lbs.
I like that it has nothing but needed material. This is no excess material.
The cumberbun is just webbing, double layered and stitched into MOLLE.
There isn't excess Cordula around it. It's breathable.

It has a plate pillow that is also breathable.

Front.

3) built in AR mag holders.
3) BFG 10 Speed pouches on top of the built in ones, I have the option of running
a total of 6 mags but the BFG pouches lay flat when not in use. They can also carry other specific items. (like the tourniquet pictured)

With 5 mags.

Back.
Pretty slick. Just 2 additional BFG pouches for buddy mags or other gear or radio.

The plates I picked up are only 3.2lbs each making the entire carried and armor
weigh in just under a L  single SAPI or ESAPI plate.

yea it is worth the price
Crye is always pricey, however they are always innovative and new
I like the carrier and think i will invest in one sometime, its lightweight with no frills
think of falling out of a plane with a ton of heavy gear

I personally believe that the quality is worth the bit extra you are going to pay for the 5.11 pouches.  They attach and detach easier than any other pouch I have used and stay firm and stable.  I have never had a problem with mine and have been using them for years.  I'm not a huge fan of their dump pouches as they are bulkier folded than some and have no retention method at the mouth of the pouch when its open.  But I will probably be buying another of their mag pouches soon.

Buy em off USCav.com and use coupon CAVTNP for a discount.  Whether you like the guy or not, it saves you money  ;D  They only have them in black and coyote at the moment but check out the video Ill be posting soon and change the color yourself!

I have several rigs, low-pro, overt, competition, and training. Usually they are weapons-system specific but I try to keep my low-pro (and most likely to use rigs) flexible (hence the use of HSGI Taco's).

I keep my blow-out kit on my first line gear.

Nice rigs, btw.  I have a few things in the mail.  Will post when I get them....

As for 5.11, they make some quality pouches.  I really like their attachment system.  Another place to look is www.lapolicegear.com   They have specials about once a month.  Just check www.retailmenot.com for coupon codes, or sign up for their newsletter.
