I bought 2 of these to throw all my "Go" gear into. These bags actually seem pretty damn decent. They are made of a thick canvas that reminds me of maybe standard issue WWII gear. For bags that will collect dust in a spare room in your house waiting for the shit to hit the fan these things will work great. Ive got them full of all my "Tactical gear" and spare clothes, medical supplies, Wool blanket, TP, etc.. I cant ruck these things into the rockies, but if i need to get out of the area i could throw them in the truck and drive. Depending on the situation i could haul them a little ways off a backroad to setup camp or just to a friends home. Either way ill have a LOT of good supplies quickly accessable aslong as i dont need to head for the hills on foot down tough terrain. And if for some reason i cant haul all that crap where i need to go, ill just pull out my Go bag from inside and throw on my gear and maybe hide the rest of my stuff for later. Currahee gave me the idea to get larger bags of supplies setup with one of his threads. I might get one more to load up with food and water aswell. I also have a couple ammo cans setup with all ammo and cleaning supplies inside. Two quick trips to the truck and back and im off.
These bags have a hefty zipper and then button snaps on a flap to cover the zipper. For $20 from voodoo tactical you cant really go wrong in my opinion.

It's actually not a " duffle bag "
It's what's called a " pilots bag " and I have to agree those things are fan-fuckin-tastic I have two of them, one I use for misc. minion gear the other I have set up as my " build a home " bag everything under the sun that would help make life in a long term SHTF situation comfortable. Hatchet, air mattress, pump for said air mattress, another small tent for gear or additional people, tarps, blankets, stoves, propane, portable shitter and solar shower, ) stuff like that.
They are massive even though they don't look it. They work great the zipper is massive and the entire thing is like quadruple stitched. If you can find these things use them over the regular duffle bags cause duffle bags ain got shit on these pilots bags.

I have a similar bag. They are great, you can have it ready with all your equipment inside and just throw it to the trunk and you're good to go.
Only thing bad with mine is that is woodland MARPAT

They're great. But, I've got more of a grey man approach with mine. I use hockey gear bags. They're big, heavy duty, can carry a hell of a lot of gear, and it's just a hockey bag that'll attract little attention.

I've got one of those, in ACU of all things, to keep the family car camping gear in.

I have several...Israeli surplus...bigger that our standard US duffel bag, loaded out with all sorts of kits. One with my chest rig and all applicable LBE gear, one with the family bug out bag for the SUV (more comprehensive than our individual BOBs and stocked for longer term), etc. These have shoulder straps, making them much more convenient than just handles if you have to move a distance on foot. I think I got mine from Midway @ about $20 but they don't seem to have them now.

Shop around; you can probably find it cheaper elsewhere. They are very well built and hold a lot of gear.
