anyone here got one? i decided against the sling systems sling because i wanted a little more durable attachment points like the MS3 has, and i have really grown fond of the plain 2 point sling, but really dig the option of going single also.
now heres the MS3

but i really like Hoss's new vid on making a "vtac" sling, cause that is the same, almost exactly the same thing as the sling i have on my weapon now, but it has seen some better days. so when i hit the store tomorrow im gona look for the components to make one, and if i find them im gona jump on that and just make my own sling lol.

I've got the old style from back when they were made of metal.
I like it. Allowing you to go from single to double point is a really nice feature. The webbing that they made it out of is not. It frays on the edges so it always looks like beat shit and it is too thin. The weight of the rifle causes the webbing to cut into you and dramatic actions like throwing your rifle over your sholder to sling it won't happen a second time with this sling.
All and all I would recommend that you Roll Your Own and post up pictures!

i was thinking about just that too and thought id try another BDS sling. the only thing i dont like about this one is the clips i prefer the HK style to these, might call them up and see what they can do.

and if the material frays really easily screw that, my other bds sling is the bees knees.

The fraying doesn't effect the strength of the webbing it just makes it look kinda furry on the edge. I've never seen any other web do that before.

I prefer a 2pt. but will run a single in certain situations and usually only with short barreled rifles.
Anyway, I didn't watch the video but if you make your own Vtac, throw this in and it becomes a MS/Vatc.

talks about the nylon and fraying problem with the old model, and how they fixed it. im still really leaning for this one.

My buddy just bought one from us. I'm sure its an awesome sling, but I'll get to see one and play around with it on Tuesday, so I"ll let you know what I think. I know it can easily go from a single point sling to a two-point sling rather quickly if you have the right gear on your rifle.

Single point all the time see what you do is wrap 550 cord around the flared down end of you ak good and tight and clip you sling on there. Oh you dont run an ak? [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at Well all I can say is your doing it wrong >:D
