Survival type, not boom type. Google "survival grenade" for comparison.
What is good in it, bad? Missing? Extra and need to delete, add more. This is the always handy type thing.
I have the bottle near full. There is a bit of room left for a couple short straws with my necessary prescription meds. Look at the pics and comments requested please.
Contents:
Top, the script bottle for it all to fit in, bout 1.25 x 2.75
Left Side, 3 full size band aids and 3 safety pins.
Left Center, 2 water purification tablets, a sealed straw with a good squeeze of generic antibacterial first aid ointment and a cotton wad, 2 sealed straws full of basic white sugar (the big straws) and one with 2 packs of salt/pepper things from fast food place
Right center. a P 38 can opener and single edge razor blade, taped to stay in wrapper
Right side 2 big straws each holding a coffee filter for your basic coffee maker, 3 straws with vaseline cotton for fire starting, a ferrocerium rod (handle pulled off to fit in bottle) and a spark stick magnesium scraper/strike steel.
Band aids go in first and wrap right against the bottle. The straws go in the center and the water tablets, spark stick, scraper, p38 and razor blade get tucked into the outsides between the bottle and band aids. Primarily to protect the straws from any potential sharp edges or wear spots.
There will be a bit of room on the top after the pill straws go in to keep a couple 6-9 inch short piece of cord. I will do a bit of gorilla tape on the outside, with a wrap of foil if they do not make it too big around. And then the cordage wrap.
This is actually getting to be a rather fun exercise thinking and figuring out what would be good to have, with dayum little else for 2-3 days. As far as fishing stuff I have one of those $9 things with all that from somewhere out here cyberwise. The straws are labeled with a Sharpie marker and near impossible to get off once it has dried.
