FN FNX .45 Tac
« on: October 14, 2014, 05:49:44 PM »
I picked one up last Friday and after 2 range sessions, I have to say that I like it. Trigger takes some getting used to compared to a 1911, but all in all, it is a good tool. The 15 round capacity is a plus. No problems in 300 rounds. Still have a ways to go for break in.

You are the bomb DC! I really want to try one out as I am a proponent of the .45AC round.

I have moved my 1911 off my battle belt for a Browning Hi-power with a 13 rnd mag. however I would like to get back to the .45ACP.

With all that is happening in the world, I have accepted my Bullets part of the equation and am working more on the Beans & Band-aides part right now.

PS: Please lock it up every night as it might not be there in the AM  ;)

JM,
I gotta tell ya that at this point, I shoot my 1911's better than the FN and HK's. I think it is the trigger.
For capacity in a 1911, para ordinance P-14's are the cats ass. They just need a little TLC to make them perform better. However, the magazines fit loosely and rattle. An o-ring will fix that.
