Title: Helikon-Tex gear, any thoughts?
Post by: crudos on April 24, 2013, 01:13:08 PM
http://helikon-tex.com/# (http://helikon-tex.com/#)

Was looking around for a new fleece jacket and/or hooded sweatshirt for Wisconsin winter/spring time. Came across the Patriot Fleece jacket (http://helikon-tex.com/#BL-PAT-HF) from Helikon-Tex out of Poland. Looks pretty nicely made and functional. Anyone have any experience with this company or products?

If found the jacket on eBay for around $77 shipped from Poland. Haven't found any US Distributors yet.

They make some neat looking stuff dude. If you can swing it or trust dudes return policy I would take the chance.

Let us know how the stitching looks and if it blocks the wind (huge weakness of fleece).

I highly recommend a Hwesta -  helikon patriot (http://hwesta.eu/clothes--fleece-jackets--helikon-patriot/) jacket. The best I have ever had. The prices are also not so high.

I like the looks of a backpack there.

Based only on the info there.  Cannot find a price tho.
