Grams are the default setting but you can change the mode to
grains, oz., ct., ozt., or dwt. You can read more about it at the link. The reviews suggest that it has some issues (what do you expect for this price), but all the issues can be worked around. One of the issues I saw in the reviews is that the accuracy is only +/- .002 grams ~ +/- .005 grams (2-5 milligrams) instead of the 1 mg it claims.
This is still more than enough accuracy for any reloading.After reading through countless reviews, I got this one.
Even if you already have a scale, get one of these as a backup. You're not going to find a better scale for the money. Even though I don't reload...yet, I use this scale for weighing doses from supplements purchased in bulk (which can require even more accuracy than reloading.)
