Not a bad gun for those reasonable prices.
You're basically talking about a "middle of the road" gun. Stag isn't bad, but they could do better.
It's been a few years since I checked the specs but as far as I know they may still batch test.
That'd be the Barrels, Bolts and carriers. Staking was a little weak.
Another issue is that Stag puts their FSB pins in the opposite way everyone else does...only a problem
if you look pound on 'em before you look at the direction of the taper.
They probly still parkerize the barrel with the FSB on too (model depending).
Not that it's a big deal that there isn't any parkerizing under the FSP...
it just kinda shows you the corners they cut and other don't.
If it were me, I'd have a spare bolt, and maybe a few extractors. They're always good to
have, but you'll likely need them. I smashed a Stag bolt into a million pieces once, but I've also
smashed a RRA to pieces too.
Everything else is fine. Stag shares the same rollmark on their uppers (in some cases lowers)
as every other manufacturer, so those are GTG and made to spec.
