Condor Cyclone Trade/Sell
« on: June 01, 2014, 03:28:03 PM »
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Some of you might of read my dislike for this plate carrier. I just bought it and its simply too small to fit on me even at full expansion. Most of my complaints were about the cummerbund. I was able to solve the plate pocket slop by wrapping the plate in a towel. It was pretty good because it gave padding and spalling protection.

But anyways make me a trade offer or its $50+ shipping. Never used just tried it on and tried to setup my stuff on it. As of now im really in need of a new plate carrier so maybe if you've got an old surplus one or something we can trade. I also need a new radio pouch as the one I have is made out of wet paper.

Im open to any trades.

I'll buy it for the asking price on condition that you post picks of your current load out/rattle.  :))
I need to replace a crummy mill surp anyway.

My current loadout was suppose to include that carrier. Im currently rocking a chest rig by condor. It gets the job done but I want to run a rear plate. Even the front plate isn't real comfortable in it. And my current setup is running an 870 so its not exciting. Its a poor mans rig for sure. I can run a shotgun pretty good though.

Its a UV-5R so maybe 3"x5"x1.5"

I will definitely look into USGG, thanks for the heads up.

A bit off topic Ken however have you thought about taking a completely different route for your battle rattle?

I moved all of my gear off of my plate carrier BUT a three mag pouch and my IFAK. I moved all other rattle to a Condor battle belt with suspenders. All other rattle includes:

Staring at left buckle and going counter clock wise around the belt...

2, single pistol mag pouches
1, triple 5.56 mag pouch (I move full mags from my plate carrier to my belt between engagements)
empty mags go into my drop pouch
1, drop pouch affixed to the front of my triple mag pouch
1, Canteen pouch + canteen
1, Canteen pouch for stuff, (right now mostly treats, survival tin and para cord)
1, Canteen pouch for weapon systems cleaning supplies plus "Life straw"
1, Canteen pouch for stuff, bino's, compass, handheld GPS, etc.
1, Radio pouch
1, Bic Pen for writing and pushing cases out of my secondary in an emergency
~, future knife once I decide what to carry maybe a K-Bar, thoughts folks?
1, Handgun holstered in a Blackhawk holster
1, Gerber multi tool.

On the left suspender a tourniquet and my mic.

With this set-up I do not feel like the Michelin Man or Stay Puff Marshmallow Man.

I'd also suggest what Mr.Mac is suggesting I run mine a little more Spartan than that but its essential the same setup.

My though was that in a day by day world I could have a couple of extra mags and a rig that didn't get in the way of daily tasks but that if I knew something was gonna cook off I could grab my plate hanger and it would have a couple of extra mags on it.. For slaying bodies, good to go.

As im picturing the belt im not in love. Sitting in a vehicle with that much stuff on my waist seems really annoying at the least. Even running my radio on my waist proved impossible. If i bend it jams the antenna into my abdomen. And if you're going to get in a vehicle the entire back half of the belt is off limits.

Do you guys have pictures of your setup on your person(TG and JMAC)? Im certainly open to new ideas.
