so this probably isn't even worth posting because it really doesn't take a genius to figure out, but i'm posting anyway.
this is a 5.11 dropleg rig.

all I did was wrap 550 cord through the belt loop and around the bottom of the sheath. sometimes it's the simplest things that you just never thought of.

You might want to sew thread into the paracord at the bottom though the existing stitches in the sheath.
It probably end up popping out of there.
