Very interesting as I'm about to fix my anvil to a stump as well.

Post by: Nemo on July 25, 2015, 03:12:32 PM: I don't know what that is all about. I put the anvil on about a 24 inch wide cut piece of pecan wood it works well. The anvil is not a real big one, it only weighs 150 pounds so maybe that is proper for the big ones.
