I was notified about this by youtube a couple of days ago but have only watched one so far.

Very interesting as I'm about to fix my anvil to a stump as well.

I don't know what that is all about.  I put the anvil on about a 24 inch wide cut piece of pecan wood it works well.  The anvil is not a real big one, it only weighs 150 pounds so maybe that is proper for the big ones.

I just welded up a stand out of angle iron.. it's loud as fuck!!

It's made to sit on dirt so its not really that loud but... yeah its loud!

I guess Pecan wood would make a great suppressor.  Its pretty quiet overall.
