How to Build A Small Rocket Stove

I ran across this video at http://www.aprovecho.org/lab/pubs/video-gallery and it does a wonderful job of explaining the hows and whys of making your own rocket stove.

This is a little piece of technology that I think we should all make and put away for a rainy day. Even if you live in a densely wooded area you can still reap the rewards of this style of stove. By increasing the effectiveness of a stove you are greatly reducing the negative effects to your health that come with cooking over a fire. You are also reducing the amount of time you spend collecting firewood which means less work and more importantly less exposure to risk due to being away from the homestead.

An example of how efficient stove design plays into security in a WROL situation. It could happen here.
