Faraday cage
« on: June 11, 2017, 09:19:07 PM »
I wear hearing aids during the day but at night I need a EMP/CME safe place for them. I took an Altoids tin and lined it with masking tape but I thought this was insufficient so I had a very thin (1/8") piece of flexible rubber foam and lined the sides and bottom. There was no need to do the top as the hearing aids don't touch the top when closed, besides there is masking tape there. I made sure when the lid is closes the complete top touches the bottom.
 Another Altoids winner.

Similar to when I had contacts before my eye surgy.

I bought  a lot of spares and kept them in different locations.
An old microwave is not a bad place for them
