Hey Gang,
I've been working on this super cheap, lightweight and compact cooking set but I need your help to improve upon it.
So I am going to send 10 of them out to you guys so you can work on it and share with the group your thoughts and mods.
I've got a couple of guys in mind because of their commitment and dedication to the site over the last year but I am interested to see who you guys think are due.
So give me a list of names and we will hash it out and get them shipped, thus beginning the challenge.
I am also thinking about giving a titanium pot to the guy who has the best ideas.

Hmm.... interesting.

Sorry for the loss of traction on this post, life got in the way big time.
It's still on my mind and I still need volunteers.
What's going to happen is I'm going to send you a complete cook kit that will need some alteration to match what you consider ideal. We all post those alterations and the guy who has the best ones get rewarded.

Can you send some pictures with dimensions and materials? I could probably work with just that. I used to run a kitchen department and sell high end cookware. Also had to submit feedback to the buyers, do demonstrations, and product suggestions for the better part of five years.

I can give it a testing if you like. I have some dirt time planned once I finish up here at college. Be able to run it through some of our harsh an vast Canadian wilderness + the north atlantic coastline [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co lol

WW, Frosty you are on the list.
Which looks like,
WW
Frosty
JMac
HJMooseJaw
Special-K
EJR
Who else?

As WW said, I too would like to see what it's like. Pictures of what it's like, dimensions, material(s.) used, all that jazz.
Do I have to supply my own Tacti-spork? ;) O0

I would like to test the kits. I'm getting into some good forage and hiking season.
-
Bummer, I would not be great at the alterations, but I could come up with recipies using just the cooking kit. Just another thought...

I'd love to see the results of this. (I'd volunteer, but I'm still working on cooking. I'm not a novice anymore, but I'm surely not an expert! I've also not done outdoor cooking in years. Not sure I'd be of any assistance in reviewing your kit.)
