So, you are at home at 2am. Hear suspicious noises in your living room. What you carrying out into the hallway?
An AR or an 870/1100?

I'm not going to hear suspicious noises coming from my living room. My dog is going to go ballistic when he hears anything anywhere near the house. When I check on odd things, I carry a 380 semi-automatic and 3 extra magazines. If and when I feel I need more firepower, I'll go back and get my Carbine and 3 extra magazines. When I go to get the carbine, I'll also dial 911 and tell them to send help and not to shoot the crazy guy with the carbine.

Remember folks, a handgun is to be used to fight your way to a long gun. Be it a shotgun or rifle. :gunner:

True, Johny. I would probably be poking around with my Kel Tec KSG shotgun, with a H&K USP .45 as back up. The first line of defense is a Great Pyrenees, who doesn't like her beauty sleep being interrupted. She's big enough that when she puts her paws on my wife's shoulders she's looking at her eye to eye. That's what dogs are for...security and hunting.

Oh yeah Jackalope!
We gotz our Dutch Shepherd. We have had two folks come into our house uninvited. They found out pretty fast to not do that. LOL.
The mailman now just beeps when he has a pkg for us and the propane guy leaves the delivery sheet in the mail box. :lmfao:
