I've been trying to find a good anti cant for my 30mm riflescope. I waited 4 months for one I ordered from Vortex and finally ended up canceling it because it never came in.  :'(

yeah mine attaches to the base rather than the scope itself. this way i can add or remove it as needed without having to re level the rifle etc to get it bolted back on level. i had to remove some material from it to get it to slide under the scope without touching but it works great now.

also let me add that in a lot of cases you wont even have time to look at a level... the level is more for that one situation where it absolutely has to be right the first shot. in most cases the level rides in my stock pack. in some situations perhaps urban with square buildings in the sight picture a level isnt needed but there are situations where what you think is level and what is actually level are way off. like say when you are prone on a slope yourself.

I've seen ones like yours in the past. I'm really wanting a scope ring mounted anti cant though. I tried makig my own..........lets just say it was all going well until I mounted the level to the scope ring. Didn't think there was enough heat left on the mount to hurt anything.  ::) Apparently the heat expanded the bubble in the level overnight. Oops....

yeah the reason i went with the base mounted rather than the scope mounted level is because where i want mine... (on the left side so i can see it while looking through the scope) is also a great place to dig into your back when slung or into your chest when carrying it in your hands. so i needed to be able to attach and detach often.

KenTactic,
Great video!

I just got back from Leupold my scope that had been reworked. They took my scope rings off (damn) so I hill have to reinstall them and then put the scope back on my rifle.

I know that your video was for shooting and keeping level but what a great idea to use a level to help me line up my cross hairs in reference to the barrel.

I will first level my rifle's barrel using sand bags then use the level to line up the cross hairs.

Keep 'em coming!!!!
