If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

The two articles don't go into much detail.  If you're planning on using the Tails operating system, then you should be a very adept and aware computer knowledgeable person.  The Tails system isn't easy to implement, for instance, it won't operate on Apple operating systems.  As a Tails user, you need to be aware that certain websites will void your anonymity, i.e., Amazon.  If you stay within Tails' limitations, you'll be fine.  Realistically, you need to be an extremely proficient computer user, otherwise known as a computer geek.  Here's an article that discusses the benefits and limitations of the Tails operating system: https://www.theverge.com/2014/4/29/5664884/this-is-the-most-secure-computer-you-ll-ever-own

If you're not totally computer savvy, then you just may draw additional attention to your activities.

Tails can help you with anonymous navigation, but there are actions as user you can perform that would void that anonymity, easiest one is to log in to any kind of website that doesn't keep all the traffic in a secure channel using HTTPS, but there are many others.

On the other hand, public terminals usually have their setups locked, so maybe you can't select the USB as boot-up device.

All that being said, I think is good to know the option exist and keep it as another tool that you can use if needed.

I don't know how serious you are about on-line security, as it can be time consuming.  Here's one website that'll get you going regarding learning about on-line privacy: https://ssd.eff.org/en   EFF has some basic user guides which help to understand the principles of avoiding on-line surveillance, and they also offer information on how to implement the principles.

There's also a Group which offers courses and hardware/equipment to avoid on-line surveillance.  https://combatstudiesgroup.blogspot.com/p/store.html  I don't believe they have offered a course on the East Coast for a couple of years, and it's pricey... $300-400, though it would be worth it, if you could adequately ensure private on-line communications.  The Combat Studies Group should team up with Brushbeater and offer an in depth communications course covering both RF and on-line communications.

I've read that just inquiring about Tor attracts attention from the NSA, though I don't know if that's true or not, but it wouldn't surprise me.

So what if the NSA has something on you? They can’t use it in court so what good does it do them?

They will help you commit suicide by shooting yourself twice in the back of your head.

It's called parallel construction...

...

Incidentally I been interested in tails for a while.
Lately I been getting more concerned about security and switched my email to startmail.
Thise servers are pretty secure even if you dont encrypt.

(and if u do encrypt even the startmail people cant read your stuff because its also encrypted against them.
This is on purpose so they cannot respond to gov't threats. )

Will shortly delete my old free email account on an insecure server once I'm done mining it.
Every day, men who will follow orders to kill you, exercise. Do you?
