My buddy came down to visit last weekend, and he had a brand new .22 in hand, the CZ 452 Ultra-Lux. This is not your daddy's .22. 28.5" barrel, designed specifically for highly-precise iron-sight European competition shooting and biatholons. It seems to like ALL 36 and especially 40-grain ammo. Believe it or not, the winchester M22 made one ragged hole at 50 yards with irons (10 different loads tested). Fantastic! With supersonic ammo it was strangely quiet and spooky. This is a bolt-action that is all about precision. Is that extra weight worth it? When it comes down to eating or not eating my answer is Hells Yeah! I'm still not selling my Savage, but this .22 rifle impressed me like no other I have ever seen, and I've been shooting since before most of you were born. What a thing of beauty!!!
