Title: Review and Comment-- Fortitude Ranch

About 75 or so miles from me and well within range of a fair number here.  Seems reasonable on price and goodies there.

I have a few rhetorical questions.

To feed a small town with game as that will be you will run out of local game pretty quickly and as the American Indian found out you will need hunting parties. There goes your security.

Do they have former military to to set up a perimeter defense. Just because there is a lot of people there doesn't mean they will be able to defend their property. A small group of determined trained men could defeat them.

I think they feel they have a good idea but they advertised where they are a big NO NO.

I would have concerns regarding my fellow "Ranchers."  Do they do background investigations of all the participants?  It may be my independent nature, but I would be much more comfortable facing an apocalypse with family and friends by my side, rather than a bunch of strangers thrown together.  The Ranch would be an interesting concept for people without a social network.  The website is slick in an advertising way. The cryptocurrency also turns me off.  It sounds like participants would be dependent upon the Ranch's staff for security and safety.  Do you really want to trust the Ranch staff with your life and the lives of your loved ones?

I can see the good and the bad in it ... but more good.

Number of boots on the ground is critical. You need a team and not a small one. So Having to align w/ folks not in your family group will pretty much be a survival necessity regardless.

Not cheap... but if you dont have your own BOL and  if it gets you into a place come SHTF it may be well worth it.
Even if their set-up was suboptimal (and I have no reason to believe it is w/o a thorough investigation) it still beats clinging to a house in the 'burbs by a country mile.

Didn't some guy try this in Idaho? It was suppose to be like a small towm/castle community behind a castle wall. I think they were gonna have an AR15 factory :fuckYeah:
