Purchased a Smith & Wesson MP-10, mid-length (18")barrel and I am getting ready to upgrade it. The goal is to make it a "reach out there and touch someone" kind of rifle.

I own most of this build and will just cannibalize from other builds or my excess inventory shelf.
One thing I am missing and asking the group here if they might have a .308 upper receiver rod (https://midwestindustriesinc.com/mi-upper-receiver-rod-308/). I have gunsmith tools for a AR-15's but not a AR-10's. I hate to drop $$$$ on something I will probably only use once. Remember, my heritage is Scottish. :lmfao:
I could take it to a gunsmith but the only one I trust is booked thru June, and I want to do it myself anyway.
If you have one and are willing to loan to me for a week or so, drop me a PM.
I will do a review on the build and post it here, when all done.

Nice upgrade to the M&P10. If you need a .308 reaction Rod drop me a line. I have one and have no pending work on any AR10 type rifles.
BTW I am about to start my own long range build. I am building a 300PRC bolt gun. Using a Defiance action, Krieger barrel, in a KRG Chassis with a Leupold Mk5HD 7-35x.
