I'm looking to replace the sights on my SR1911 which is currently set up with the factory sights. I use the FT bullseye on my glock and absolutely love it but they dont make one that will mount on a 1911.
So my question is this, does anyone know of a bright sight that does not require batteries and slim enough for EDC?

Meprolight tritium sights. https://www.opticsplanet.com/meprolight-usa-tru-dot-night-sight-td-fixed-45-acp-1911-front-and-rear-sight-set.html (https://www.opticsplanet.com/meprolight-usa-tru-dot-night-sight-td-fixed-45-acp-1911-front-and-rear-sight-set.html) I use some of their sights on a H&K VP-9, they're plenty bright. I also use some Meprolight M21's on a couple of our long guns.

I have the M21 on a tavor x95 and LOVE it!!!
I'd like to stay with a single sight picture, one dot, vs lining up front, rear and target, if possible.

Look at Dawson Precision. They have some very good options. My preferred is a Fiber Optic front with Black rear. It sound like that is the sight picture you like.

Truglo TFO sights, green front, yellow rear are wonderful.
