I am looking for a commercial available load to shoot from my Smith & Wesson M&P 10 rifle.
My rifle specifics
> My rifle has a 1-10" R twist with an 18" barrel,
> Knock down power and accuracy distance at a minimum of 600-meters. 800-meters would be nice but I will not be piggish,
> Obviously, every barrel and rifle will be different even within the same model/brand, hence the reason for four different
brands and probably sizes to try out,
> Here is one I am looking at, LAKE CITY 7.62X51 M118LR 175 GRAIN OTM. Has anybody shot this round?
Thanks a bunch folks

If you are anything like me, your rifle will shoot any round better than you can.
Every firearm I have shoots better than I can shoot it. Sounds like that rifle will be the same with most everyone who gets on the trigger.

The Lake City M118LR is an excellent round. Also look at the Federal Gold Medal Match shooting the 175gr Sierra Match King Bullet. Also Hornady 178gr OTM is a very consistent round that performs well.
