I have never really been into 1911's though I did grow up on them. They just were never my thing.

But yesterday I held a 1911 Champion

I tell you what that thing was the one of the most comfortable pistols I have ever held.

You should handle the compact in the middle picture of my post... Since I dehorned it, blended the MSH and grip safety, and re-parked, it feels almost SOFT in the hand, but still provides ample grip and stability. VERY comfortable gun.
