the Ruger 1022 is America's most popular 22 rifle for a reason.

and thats a shame, nothing special bout em, the remington model 514 my grandpa gave me will outshoot almost any 10/22 on the market. at 100 yards ill pop coke cans all day, literately, my buddy with his 10/22 was amazed at the accuracy from the 50 year old rifle so he asked to shoot it and found out quickly that there are more accurate weapons than 10/22s. dont get me wrong i think there great rifles but not the best. the browning is not as popular cause it cost more.

wildturkey, what do you mean 600 is alot for a 22. in wrol there can be a guy walking through the woods by my house with a 1000 dollar AR and i can sit in tidywhites and pop him from 100 yards and he'll never see me.

For me $600 is too much to pay for just about any firearm

i understand bro its not on your list to spend 600 for a rifle that not a battle rifle but what im doing is putting away a little money here and there until i have enough.
