Title: AK74's and Their Countries of Origin
Post by: ArmThePopulace on March 10, 2012, 09:56:20 PM
I currently live in California and hope to eventually escape. Once said escape is complete the first firearm that I will pick up will be an AK74 (I already own an AR15 but am interested in the AK system) and I was wondering which one would be the best to pick up. I already know that Arsenal is "King Shit" in the world of AK's but I also hear that the Bulgarian and Polish AK's are high-quality weapons. I have no idea if this information has already been covered on the forum. If so, please direct me to the link. As always, any help would be appreciated and keep up the good work, gents.

The bulgy kits are just fine. They aren't the best quality but there is far worse.
They will run for your life and your kids life and your kids kids life as long as hit it with some windex prior to each outing.

Sorry to hear your in such a shitty state.

At least the Poles stood up and fought the Nazis in WW2, they didn't just give up like the pussy French.

Don't complement the Frogs by awarding them the title of pussies. Not only did they surrender but they fought for Hitler, this act is not the act of a pussy but rather the act of a fill in the blank here ________

How about this?:  Yes, my grandmother was 100% Polish and born in Poland, emigrated to the US and became a citizen (legally).  I was born here and am 100% American.  I was an American paratrooper with the 319th Military Intelligence Battalion, many medals, honorably discharged.  Is that good enough?  I am an American.  I never heard my grandmother speak polish.  It was always English. I am going to set the record, StraightPrep has and never will have anything against the Polish. From my personal experience of working hand in hand with a fellow named Adamczyk for 2 years straight I have found the stereotype to be inappropriate and unfounded.

That said I am not above a good ribbing...
