and educated on many things, I decided to expand my knowledge. I hate current music but it was about Ariana Grande. Trying to be a well learned man with an open mind I decided to watch.
When it started with some high school chick saying-- one time on Twitter I heard Ariana was pregnant, so I got pregnant so we could be pregnant together, then learned it was just a rumor-- I knew it was on a downward track.
When another high school girl said-- when she sang knock me out, I punched myself in the face-- it was awesome it crashed and burned.

Having been a professional musician for more than 50 years, I gave up on modern music right around 2000. I try to listen to modern bands on TV but I only last about 10 minutes before I either have to change the channel or shoot myself in the head. So far, changing the channel has worked pretty well.

All of those scenes are references to four different movies. Here is a breakdown if you want to waste 12 minutes. I watched the Easter Egg one before I watched the actual music video because it intrigued.

Basically, that is a homage to the movie Mean Girls.

Actually, Disco was pretty good but it went on and on and on. After a while, it was like, oh my goodness, isn't something else going to come along and replace it? Then it was, oh no, not more Disco. Then Disco got replaced by something far more sinister. Country Music tried to sound like Rock Music. Then somebody with only 2 brain cells came along with RAP Music.
