No ham but green eggs that are not rotten. :what:
Did you know there is a chicken that lays green eggs? Well I didn't and didn't believe the lady that told me about them. This morning dropped off eight green eggs at our house. The chicken type she has that lays them is called a Araucanas. Most Araucanas lay blue eggs.

I just don't know about that. Green eggs? I suspect dye. But is on the internet so you know it has to be true.

No the egg shells actually are green. Robins lay blue eggs, so why not green eggs? My girls all lay brown eggs.

we have a mix of chickens. some are 'eastereggers' they lay either green or blue eggs.
they are normal eggs = the color is only on the outside.

Many years ago I was up at Southwest Harbor, Maine (Bar Harbor's neighbor) at a West Marine Store's Grand Opening.
We had taken over a 8,000 sf space from Hinckley Yachts and I was the MC for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Anyhow, I was chatting with the President of Hinckely who told me that they just delivered a custom Picnic Boat (http://www.hinckleyyachts.com/models/picnic-boats/picnic-boat-40/)Picnic Boat to Martha Stewart.
During the planning stages of the boat Stewart came in with an egg from one of her chickens and she explained that she wanted the boat painted the same color as the egg. Here (https://www.marthastewart.com/1010917/taking-boat-tour-maine) is a short video of it.
