My wife makes near the same thing with Andouille sausage, taters, cabbage and onions.  Delicious.

But kale is poison.  Ever since the other mr. obama said the word.

Gee my chickens love kale.  It keeps well in the garden, even up here in sub-arctic temperatures.  We dehydrate it too, use it as a snack with a little salt.  It's also good if you mix it with some bacon bits, and a little bacon grease.  I do the same thing with mustard greens.

Kale

good for chickens
anything good with bacon and/or grease--  that antidotes the poison

rest has poison implanted by obummers to change reasonable brains to liberal.

I tried to like Kale in salads, but it just has a terrible taste to me. It isn't bad cooked though, and has a bunch of health benefits if I recall.
