Title: Biden To Tap Home Heating Oil Reserves
Post by: JohnyMac on May 24, 2022, 11:06:56 AM
My investment friend in VA. just sent me this article where President O'Biden is looking at releasing home heating oil reserves.

Biden recently asked officials to begin preparing a plan to order a release of fuel from the Northeast Home Heating Oil Reserve ? a government stockpile of ultra-low sulfur diesel last tapped in 2012 during Hurricane Sandy ? a senior administration official told CNN. The move reportedly reflected the president?s and White House officials? concerns about surging diesel fuel prices and declining private sector inventories in the northeast. - Long Island NY (https://www.longisland-ny.com/2022/05/23/nations-emergency-heating-oil-stockpile-may-be-drained-as-biden-desperately-tries-to-control-fuel-situation/)

Our second tri-axle of firewood logs has just arrived. My neighbor and I are squared away for heat this coming winter. Whar are you doing to square away your family for heat?  :hiding:

Will get 2 cords of wood in August for our cabin. More after the pole barn is up.
Can't do much for our house, it is all electric.
I do have 55 gallons of K-1 and 2 kerosene heaters for when the power may be out. And access to 6,000 gallons at work if needed.
