Title: 2 Women, 2 Big Dogs Adrift at Sea 5 Months
Post by: Nemo on November 02, 2017, 09:59:41 AM
survive 5 months adrift at sea in wide open Pacific with supplies onboard.

Story seems debunked or at least seriously questionable.

I sailed alot in my younger days - I lived on Oahu.
i have to admit, this is an odd story.  It feels like the balloon boy story from several years ago.
One comment on the protein problem - I would assume that they did fish.  that could have brought in enough to keep the K9's alive. Ahi is easy to catch.
Their story doesn't ring true to me either.  Incompetence in open water is usually unforgiving.  I wonder if the silent one is a capable sailor.

Everybody wants to be important.  I don't believe a word of it.
