I thought the Feds passed a law radios had to still be able to receive an AM station.  Is this doing something with that?

Nemo

Not at all, Nemo.  MFJ is a company that manufactures amateur radio accessories, radios, amplifiers, and antennas.  It was started by Martin Jue back in the 1970's, if I remember correctly.  They also purchased many other brands and absorbed them into MFJ, over the decades.  I can understand Mr. Jue's need to retire, but the loss of all of these companies and their associated products would have a major impact on amateur radio operators.  We're talking literally hundreds, if not thousands, of different products.  Just thinking about my equipment, I probably have at least 20 different MFJ products in my station.  Hopefully, they'll sell off the different brands that make up the company.

Johny, we went Friday afternoon, so it was a matinee, maybe 6 of us in the theater.  We were near the middle of the theater, and everyone else was seated behind us, so I didn't get an opportunity to observe them.  The audio was very loud, especially near the end, and in real life, it would have been even louder (for those who have experienced firing inside buildings).  So we wouldn't have heard much else.  It was one of those Regal theaters in Knoxville, with something like 18 screens.  F'ing previews took about a half hour, I was getting frustrated because there were so many of them, and we're not planning on seeing any of the films based on the previews.

One advantage I think "we" have is the "quality" of the disloyal opposition.   "We" have the tools and know-how to make a lot more of them die for their country (whatever "country" they imagine) than they can ever make us die for.
In fact, their heretofore cushy existence will spell the actual end of their existence when the cushy parts suddenly fall away.
And if I have my history down correctly, making more of them die than they can kill of us is usually attached to victory versus defeat.
Our current crop of Traitors-In-Charge may find that in the extremis, their "useful idiots" aren't really gonna prove all that useful in the end.
We are only now, in the irritating "preludes" of all-out civil mayhem.
When order really collapses (locally, regional, nationally) then it's "game on".   It gets "real", and we shall see what we shall see.

We are headed to a restricted civil war. Restricted to area's of the county. Probably more blue urban area's vs. red rural. It is inevitable as we see Socialists and Marxists gain more and more control, especially with our young useful idiots. We hear daily now, "death to America". Sometimes you get what you wish for.

THEY get what THEY wish for! The rest of us will need to fight to protect what we already have such as the Constitution and Bill of Rights and any sort of freedom

Well now...Thank you Jackalope for a thought provoking review.

Okay, sounds like a matinee with a senior discount to me. Probably on a rainy day to boot.

Question Jackalope, what did the audience think around you if you could observe or hear them?

I got an email announcement about it (I bought stuff in the past).  Mr. Jue is turning 80 and wants to spend more time with family.
