News & Politics / The Reset Is Coming
« Last post by JohnyMac on Today at 12:52:11 PM »
As we celebrate April 19. 2024, 249 days after the original Patriots Day, it has become apparent to me that the reset is just around the corner. Probably before the November 2024 presidential election.

It has become apparent to me that our representatives in the US House and Senate, are past redemption as they worship the U$D.

First we had the US House accept the FISA Section 702 renewal and now the acceptance of money going to Ukraine when the southern USA border is not closed are examples one & two.

Quote
"WASHINGTON, April 17 (Reuters) - The U.S. House of Representatives will have its long-awaited vote on aid for Ukraine, Israel and the Indo-Pacific as soon as Saturday, Republican Speaker Mike Johnson said on Wednesday, paving the way for its possible passage despite fierce objections from the right wing of his conference." - Reuters

Let's remember the words of Thomas Jefferson in his letter to William Stephens Smith, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it?s natural manure." - Founders Archives

Ok here we go again...

iran make poor attempt at retaliation
Israel then retaliates against iran

Neither side hit anything with mentioning (that we know of so far)

Is this saber rattling for each Country (and support Countries) to raise taxes to "help" one side or the other? Both iran and Israel have the resources to inflect great harm to the other side yet neither has taken that step???

Someone needs to follow the money, where its coming from and where its going!!!

Yep this is going to be an interesting summer and like I've said before, I have great doubts about the United States actually having an election this year. If we do, we all know its rigged...

April 19, 1775.  Lexington Massachusetts, the American Revolution started.

249 years ago today.  Will we make it to 250 as planned back then.

Spread the word.

Concord Hymn
By Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sung at the Completion of the Battle Monument, July 4, 1837

By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
   Their flag to April?s breeze unfurled,
Here once the embattled farmers stood
   And fired the shot heard round the world.

The foe long since in silence slept;
   Alike the conqueror silent sleeps;
And Time the ruined bridge has swept
   Down the dark stream which seaward creeps.

On this green bank, by this soft stream,
   We set today a votive stone;
That memory may their deed redeem,
   When, like our sires, our sons are gone.

Spirit, that made those heroes dare
   To die, and leave their children free,
Bid Time and Nature gently spare
   The shaft we raise to them and thee.

This is where it's nice to line in a place that even my fellow Virginians have a difficult time remembering where it is, if they ever knew.   We do get some city critters out here occasionally, like during the waves of COVID panic.
