I am starting a separate but related thread to the Digital Back Pack Build (http://unchainedpreppers.com/forum/radio/digital-back-pack-build/) article. This thread is dedicated to the 80-6M portable Ham Radio antenna produced by N9SAB HF Ham Radio Antenna (https://www.ebay.com/str/n9sab (https://www.ebay.com/str/n9sab)).
Yesterday I hung the antenna I received from N9SAB in an inverted 'V' configuration. The apex was about 20 feet high and the two legs were strung out at a 45 degree angle. Ran 50 feet of RG8X coax cable to my porch and my Xeigu G90.

Changed the setting's from digital to voice and started to spin the dial. Through out a CQ for a signal report and two hams came back immediately. One ham from Connecticut and one from eastern NY. To cool!
Well life took over and I had to leave my radio and testing the antenna. I will pick up the testing hopefully, later today.
Stay tuned.

Slipper toe is good but my nickel says its not there intentionally. A better size context would be a quarter, .45acp round, dollar bill or something similar. It helps me figure out what I am seeing.
I presume its likely your slipper but I don't know big your foot is. And it might be your wife's dainty shoe size.

Yeah, we lost our power (no big deal for ) and a few trees down across our 2-track twp road. I love it when a chain saw fires up after 3 pulls after sitting a winter.
It was 70 yest and is 28 now with intermittent snow flurries.
