Title: International Space Station ISS
Post by: JohnyMac on February 16, 2019, 01:00:36 PM
For you hams out there, the ISS is downloading SSTV (Slow Scan TV) images today and tomorrow on 145.800 Mhz. You will need MMSSTV software which is available free on the interwize and a USB cable to go between your 2-meter rig and computer. Go here (http://www.arrl.org/news/ariss-plans-do-over-of-slow-scan-tv-transmissions-over-february-15-17-weekend) for all of the specifics.

I have 8 of the 12 images they are down loading so far. Every time the ISS passes over it sends one of the pic's.

Have fun

Cool, thanks for the tip.  The inventor of SSTV is an old friend.

Click below to find when it will be over you.  If the sky is clear you can see it.  I watch it often.
