In essence here (http://www.sws.bom.gov.au/Category/HF%20Systems/Online%20Tools/Prediction%20Tools/HF/HF.php?CatID=6&SecID=7&SecName=Online%20Tools&SubSecID=1&SubSecName=Prediction%20Tools&LinkName=HF#top) is a link to an awesome propagation predictor by Lat/Lon, Date & Time, and Frequency.
Here (https://brushbeater.wordpress.com/2018/01/17/hf-propagation-prediction-tool/comment-page-1/#comment-5022) is the article posted on Brushbeater

Brushbeater has a wealth of information. I see he's going to be offering a RTO course, I may consider signing up for that one.

IF and only IF the price is reasonable, I might go too. I wonder if NC has a reciprocity agreement with PA.

He charges $200 per student for a two day RTO training course: https://brushbeater.wordpress.com/training-courses/ I'm guessing that the typical amateur radio operator who does HF portable would pick up a few tips, but I'm not sure if it would be $200 worth of tips. I'll have to think on that, because field days give plenty of opportunity to refine portable operating techniques. Lol, I'd probably be better off putting the money towards some tactical weaponcraft classes, since I know more about communications than weapons.

Plus the expense getting there.
