Title: First Hamfest of the Year

    My wife and I participated in the first hamfest in TN for 2020.  It was well attended considering the weather.  It's the first time I've tailgated in an enclosed area, so all participants were warm and dry.  Interestingly, there was a local preparedness group there which had a booth to encourage folks to prep.  There were at least three ARES groups there with their command/communications centers.  All in all, it was a worthwhile event.

Our first hamfest of the new year is Marathon, NY next Saturday. MrsMac and I will go. Looking for another reconditioned laptop I bought in September at the Horse Heads NY hamfest. The one I bought I sent to MechMedic.
