I was listening in and could just hear enough to identify JohnyMacs call sign.

I was on at 2000.  I called x 3, but no reply.  There was a net at 7.240 and a couple of AM stations lower in the band, so no lack of qrm

A new HAM operator here, General Class, looking for the ERIN schedule.  I was told 1800 hrs EDT 7.231 or 3.970 LSB but did not hear anything, only to find out here that 2000 hrs is apparently current.  Is there a day of week also?

OK, thanks.  I found the "updated EIRN net link" after I posted that question, and it noted Tuesdays at 8 pm EDT 92000 hours).  I will tune in both days and see which, or maybe both are valid.
I have only a random wire up at this time, as the Gap Challenger DX is still in a box, but it apparently pulls in pretty well.

Well, I tuned in again all around 7.238 tonight and all I heard was a bunch of Conversations going on. I didn't hear an ERIN net.

Johny is thinking about getting them started again from what I understand. Especially leading into election day and with the insanity cranking to 10.

That would be great.  I was at a meeting last Sunday, so I didn't get home in time for the net.  I've got another meeting this Sunday too, not sure if I'll make it or not. We've got a mutual assistance group locally and they meet Sunday afternoons/evenings.  The meeting is at my QTH this week, so hopefully it'll be done in time, if not, I'll do some live radio training.

I didn't make it due to shooting practice.  Some twilight shooting exercises.  I learned I need to change the batteries in night vision scope sooner.  The scope doesn't work too well when the batteries are dead.

Sounds like time well spent....
