Title: TC3 Class
Post by: mechmedic on May 26, 2019, 08:48:00 PM
Class is less than a week away. As far as I know there’s still two spots available. Any last minute questions before the class? Everyone excited? I know I am.

I will be there!

Anybody north of the MD Line and close to I-81 who would like to car pool down or go in caravan; I will be going down the 31st and coming home the 3rd. Just PM me.

mechmedic, maybe give a recommendation of clothing to wear and equipment to bring. First, it is NW North Carolina so I am bring clothing to be comfortable in; rain, sleet, snow, and 30 degree weather.

I will be bringing my battle belt complete with IFAK and tourniquets. I want to see how tight I can go on  Patriotman's right arm before he says "uncle".  ;)

I will leave the RPG launcher and appropriate projectiles at home unless I am requested to bring. Appropriate vintage wines and cigars for post class studies are a must.

In all serious mechmedic, I am looking forward to the class and meeting you.

Just bring what you would wear for a simple day patrol. Line 1 and 2 gear. Whatever clothing you would wear. Good footwear. Knee pads if you need them. Fine tobacco products are always recommended. Which reminds me, I need to pick some up.

That means I will have to switch hands....

Side note--  exit 150 in Va, east toward rt 460, left at the light at T intersection a couple miles in, about 30 miles north watch for signs to National D-Day Memorial.  Be an hour or 3 added to the trip but a worthwhile stop for remembering.

Thank you Nemo.

Are you attending the class? Last I read you were thinking of it.

I agree that we are spoiled a little bit even though there is also a ton of training in the Pacific Northwest and Texas we don't necessarily have easy access to.

I had a work conflict and not happy about missing this class. I am sure you all will have a blast and I am looking forward to hearing more about it and hope to make the next one!

I have family in the Pacific Northwest. I might do a class out there next year if there’s enough interest.

The NC area was ideal for me so hope you can do another class this way again sometime down the road.

When I get back from sandland next year I will definitely try to do more of these. Maybe even a longer more in depth course if there’s enough interest.

It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and all of the students. Every one of you have honored me with the comments that you’ve given. I am looking forward to coming back and teaching there again. And even taking classes with you.
