Most people know that when someone is dehydrated they need fluids quickly. But storing Sterile fluids can be tough, most places require a prescription for IV Bags even online. And unless you practice it regularly, sticking people is a perishable skill.
There are much simpler options available. Simply using someone's hydration bladder and an oral re-hydration solution (it doesn't even need to be sterile!) can work just as well as IV administered fluids. Enema Bags are also a good choice if you don't want to ruin a perfectly good hydration bladder

Here's a link for some decently priced enema bags

Great info, thank you for posting these.
What are your thoughts on things like https://pedialyte.com/dehydration-symptoms-causes?gclid=CJmwkcHvnN8CFcI8gQodcBMB4g I have heard about this a few places and just wanted your opinion.

Pedialite works well, just keep in mind it has a LOT of sugar in it. Might not be a problem for regular people, but some have diabetes. The stuff I prefer is what we used when we were in Texas. It’s called Drip Drop. You can find it on amazon in pouches sized for regular water bottles. I’ll have to go dig for the link for the bulk pouches. But on the cheap, I would get some of that old school oral rehydration salts (or just pour some salt into the bag before I administer it, it’s not like they are going to be tasting it). I like the Drip drop because it actually tastes good. I’ve even used it to treat hangovers.

Awesome, will take a look at the drip drop stuff. Always good to have options. :bravo:

This is interesting. I have a link on my list of stuff to buy there.

I would get the 21 gram pouches vs the 10 gram. But that’s just me. Both sizes probably wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Practice makes perfect, let us know who you do...

First volunteer for 21 gm. Step up and bend. :faint:

Oh I’ve threatened more than one person with a Ranger IV if they weren’t drinking enough water.
