Title: Family death

Today is the 57th anniversary of my marriage. This morning between 7:30 and 8:00 AM my wife Sharon passed away. This has been a very hard day for me.

An extraordinary life together and now she had to leave you.    I am so sorry.   You know that there will be reunion though.   And until then, many memories to cherish and hold.  God bless and protect you.

Today was my wife's funeral. This was very hard for me. I was delighted to see so many of my friends and family there. Many of Sharon's friends came also and it was very uplifting because many of Sharon's friends are very old, and in bad health, and actually should not be trying to come out in this manner. With that said, I was very grateful that they thought enough of her to come out anyway. The Lord blessed us with no rain until about 2 hours after the service. The Church is about 1 block from the county courthouse and our Sheriff came and that gave me the opportunity to thank him in person for having great Deputies that came with the EMS people and tried their best to save Sharon.
