Yep. Hmmmm... Maybe my email to him helped. I laid it right out, fact for fact. The most important one was about not letting those under 21 buy a firearm. I reminded him that 17-year-olds can and do join the military and the first thing they do is hand them a gun. I suggested that maybe the military just didn't understand that children shouldn't have guns until they are 21 and then they could consider issuing them a gun. That proposed law really pissed me off because my uncle was drafted into the Korean War and was an MP. Hey!!! Wait a MINUTE. You can't give that 18 year old kid a 1911 Colt 45 and an M1 Carbine to carry everywhere he goes.
