Trumps State of the Union 2018 Speech

MrsMac and I watched President Trump's State of the Union (SOTU) last night. I didn't know what to expect, prepared for the worse and hopeful for the good. In short - I loved it!

I must remind all that I was not part of the Trump train on November 8, 2016. With that written I have made a total 180 degree turn around and as of today, I am 100% in his court.

The question is, can he keep this train moving or will he step on his dick once again and derail it. Time will tell.

Some comments and observations:

> What he offered the DEM's on DACA was more than the Gang of Eight was proposing several years ago. Will the DEM's embrace it?
> I know there is a certain amount of political theater in any Presidents SOTU speech, however, I was shocked to see only a smattering
   of clapping by the DEM's during bipartisan mildly jingoistic moments. The hate for Trump on the opposite side of the aisle is
   mind boggling. I can only imagine that Mr. Obama and his supporters had similar feeling's when he was in office. It is good to
   remember to walk in other folks moccasins before you open up your pie hole.

 I believe what hurt the democrats the most was the look on Pelosi and Shumer's faces during the SOTU address. You could see the hate in their eyes.
  In my opinion the Mexican American congressman who walked out when the people were shouting USA put him a step down in the eyes of Latino Americans.
 The racist black congressional caucus were totally insulting wearing African garb to an American political event of such magnitude. If you consider African over American then move to Africa.
 President Trump cut the democrats off at the knees with his speech and if they don't come around they wont be here in 2019.
 I liked everything the President said with exception of 1.8 million illegals getting citizenship. But in 12 years President Pence will have to take care of it. I especially like keeping Guantanamo open for illegal combatants.

 MAY THE DEMOCRATS SUFFER UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP LIKE WE SUFFERED UNDER OUR FORMER MUSLIM LEADER.

I missed the Latino Representative walking out on the SOTU speech.  :lmfao:

Now let me firmly put my  :tinfoil: hat on here...You could cut the vial coming out of Left Side of the aisle with a butter knife. What will this hatred lead too I wonder?

Based on the body language of most of the DEM's who attended the speech they were ready to explode.

I will leave you with one final thought. Why in the hell did the DEM's pick Rep. Kennedy to speak for them. A White, privileged, and male person.  :facepalm:

 Speaking about grasping at straws one of the MSM(I missed who) said it was a Republican train that hit a garbage truck. I thought the train belong to Amtrac. The left is quietly committing :suicide:

 I don't think the dem's could sack the economy but an assassination on the President and/or congress is very possible.  The hate in the democrat party and their followers is growing with every Trump win.
  :tinfoil: I believe obama is overseas trying to gin up a war. :hiding:
 Manchin would be the only one to switch sides but he is a life long democrat, He almost stood up at one point at the SOTU.

I was surprised that the Democrats sat throughout the speech.  It is an indication as to how wide the divide is in this country.

 Being divided doesn't scare because good people can come to terms. It's the amount of hate in the democrat party and their followers. The county I live in is strongly Conservative Republican but don't you dare put a Trump sticker on your vehicle and park it at Walmart's or other store.

Damaging an other persons car for having a (Heaven forbid) Clinton or Trump sticker on it is Fascism pure and simple.

I go grey man, no stickers on my car, nor signs on my lawn. When I was much younger I was stopped by the police for a supposed traffic infraction.  In the end there was no infraction, but the officer had seen a sticker on the vehicle and he had many questions about it.  The entire incident was a fishing incident, because the officer saw a sticker he didn't recognize.   After that incident I removed all stickers and decals from the vehicle, except the ones that are legally required.
