Could be interesting and it's gonna happen eventually anyway, couldn't think of a better place from my point of view.

IMO, only the Governor can request DHS help from the Feds. Now you folks in IL. would know better than I...Is your governor a Progressive? If so It should be interesting to watch.

On another note: I do not think "the one" will go to Chicago. There is just to much 'down side' for publicity/ politics.
