Great evil was done both collectively and individually, ALL "J6ers" being ill- used as political pawns. And by way of precedent and the public "example" set, great damage was done to our entire population.
What possible exculpatory set of circumstances can excuse abrogation of Constitutional rights, the pursuit of malicious prosecution and the mistreatment of prisoners? None that I can think of.
The needs of justice, which maintain the very life of justice, require redress against those who went out of their way to abuse anyone and everyone who could serve as fodder to bolster the "insurrection" narrative.
Rodney King's "can't we all just get along" (now) simply WILL NOT DO.
